Exciting weekend of Feile hurling with some heroic perfomances. A’s went to the wire having beaten Whitehall in a dramatic play off on Sunday morning in Ellenfield, they were just edged out by Ballyboden in semis despite a fantastic 2nd half comeback. B’s were up against it playing single club teams but they put on a great display against Crokes B’s and were unlucky to lose. Hard luck to Senior hurlers against Crokes in Championship on Friday night. Great performance by our Inter hurlers on Saturday who despite losing by four points to Whitehall (seniors) gave a sterling performance right to the end and even without several keys players were very unlucky to lose this match. Congrats to the Na Fianna representatives on the Dublin Minor hurling panel on their win against Antrim in Saturday’s friendly in Mobhi Road. Good away outings for our Minor hurlers on Sunday, B’s beat Swords Gaels and A’s drew with Kilmacud Crokes. Our Inter footballers cup match on Saturday was conceded by Whitehall Colmcilles while our AFL10 team were pipped by a point in cup on Sunday against St. Brendans. Hard luck to our Junior Hurlers losing by three points against Naomh Olaf in championship on Sunday. Congrats to Lucy Collins and Dublin’s U-21’s on their Championship win against Wexford on Saturday. Best of luck to our Senior Ladies in Championship against Fingallians this Wednesday night in Lawless Park at 7.30pm, all support welcome. Good luck also to our U16C footballers in Championship final in Parnell Park next Sat at 11am, lads looking for your support. Junior ladies say a big thanks to all who supported their table quiz fundraiser last week. Na Fianna Golf Classic this Friday in Donabate Golf Club, contact Pat Breen or Gerry Donohue for bookings. Sincere sympathies are extended to the O’Shea family on the death last week of Pat, a Na Fianna hurling coach for almost forty years. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
